I-94 OPEN from Jamestown to Fargo
I-94 remains closed from Jamestown to Bismarck
No Travel Advisory remains in effect for areas east of Bismarck
Travel Alert in effect for areas west of Bismarck, Jamestown, Valley City, Minot, Devils Lake and Grand Forks
The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) and the North Dakota Highway Patrol have OPENED eastbound and westbound I-94 from Jamestown to Fargo. I-94 remains CLOSED from Jamestown to Bismarck.
Motorists should be aware the following advisories are still in effect:
- A No Travel Advisory remains in effect for areas east of Bismarck due to strong winds, low visibility, blowing and drifting snow creating hazardous driving conditions.
- I-94 CLOSED from Jamestown to Bismarck Conditions include extreme ice, compacted snow and blowing and drifting snow causing long stretches of icy roads and near zero visibility at times creating hazardous driving conditions.
- A Travel Alert is in effect for areas west of Bismarck, Jamestown, Valley City, Minot, Devils Lake and Grand Forks due to icy roads, visibility reduced down to 500 ft at times, and scattered snow drifts. Motorists are encouraged to reduce speeds and drive according to the conditions.
