Motorists are advised to reduce speeds and use caution. ND 46, approximately five miles west of Gackle, water on the roadway, traffic will stop and take turns, reduce speeds and use caution when traveling through water. ND 46, approximately 1.5 miles west of Gackle, water on the roadway, traffic is allowed. The road surface may become icy with dropping temperatures.

NDDOT closes rest area buildings; parking lot areas remain open
In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, the North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) seeks to combat spread of the virus by temporarily closing buildings at rest areas across the state effective March 20 until further notice. Parking lot areas will remain open for use by the public. It has been indicated that transmission of the COVID-19 virus could infect people in “high touch” areas such as those found at public facilities like rest areas. The NDDOT does not have cleaning personnel continuously posted at rest areas.
