Travel Alert issued for southeastern North Dakota
A Travel Alert has been issued for southeastern North Dakota due to icy roads and blowing snow causing reduced visibility in some areas. Cities included in the Travel Alert are Jamestown, Valley City, Fargo, Wahpeton, Ellendale, and surrounding areas. A Travel Alert means conditions are such that motorists can still travel in these areas, but should be advised of rapidly changing conditions. Motorists are encouraged to wear seat belts, reduce speed, and drive according to the conditions

Public Input Meeting December 3, to discuss proposed improvements to ND Highway 11/18 in Lidgerwood
A Public Input Meeting will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, December 3, 2019, at Lidgerwood City Hall located at 15 Wiley Avenue N. The Public Input Meeting will utilize an open house format with a formal presentation at 6:00 pm.

NDDOT finalizes 2020-2023 Statewide Transportation Improvement Program and begins next planning cycle
The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) 2020-2023 Final Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) is now available. The STIP is a four-year program of transportation improvements to be funded with federal highway and transit monies. Improvements include state and county highways, urban streets, roadway safety features, bikeways and busing programs.
