North side intersection of 32nd Avenue and 33rd Street S now temporarily closing Monday
April 28, 2017
FARGO, N.D. (April 28, 2017) – During this week’s cold weather and snowfall, contractors for the 32nd Avenue reconstruction and I-29 bridge widening project were on site and were able to continue work that did not require warmer temperatures.
However due to the colder temperatures, they are pushing back a short term intersection closure, originally scheduled for the end of this week. The north side intersection of 32nd Ave. and 33rd Street S, near Sanford Healthcare Accessories, will now close the morning of Monday, May 1, and is scheduled to reopen by end-of-day Tuesday, May 2, weather permitting. Before this closure, crews will add temporary access to businesses between 32nd Street S and 33rd St. S via 32nd Ave.
This minor delay will not impact project completion date and contractors do remain on schedule with project work.
Early next week, FargoStreets will send out an updated timeline of traffic impacts coming to the work zone.
