A reminder for equipment deliveries to the Red River Valley Fairgrounds in West Fargo
The North Dakota Department of Transportation Fargo District, contractors and event organizer would like to share a traffic related reminder ahead of the upcoming Big Iron Farm Show at Red River Valley Fairgrounds next week.
From east of 12th Street SW to Sheyenne Street in West Fargo, Main Avenue is currently an active work zone where all lanes are reduced to only 12 feet in width. Drivers carrying wide loads of equipment are advised to use Interstate 94 and exit at Main Avenue (exit 343) for fairground access, and avoid entering the area using Main Ave. from the east.
In the Main Avenue reconstruction work zone eastbound traffic has one designated driving lane on the south side and the westbound traffic has one driving lane on the north side. All north and south side intersections at Main Avenue are open to all traffic or have a limited to right-in/right-out motion. Crews are currently working in the median area.
The events at the fairgrounds begin on Tuesday, September 13.
