A Public Information Meeting will be held from 4 pm to 7 pm on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 in the community room in the Lower Level of West Acres Mall.
Area business owners, residents, and general public are invited to discuss the proposed street reconstruction project on 32nd Avenue S from 32nd Street to 42nd Street that is scheduled to be worked on in 2017. The purpose of the project is to improve operations by adding roadway capacity and reduce delays along the corridor and to improve safety for motorized and non-motorized modes of transportation.
This project is for the pavement reconstruction and widening on 32nd Avenue S from 32nd Street to 36th Street, and pavement widening from 36th Street to 42nd Street. It is made up of two sub-projects: the NDDOT portion at I-29 which involves the service interchange, and the City portion, which consists of the city street east of the interchange to 32nd Street, and west of the interchange to 42nd Street.
The public information meeting will provide an opportunity for the public to get an update on the project, and to have any questions answered about the project. The meeting will be an open house format with no planned presentation.
