Motorists are encouraged to use the open intersections and side streets of 11th St. and 8th St. on the south side to access the businesses and residential neighborhoods in the area.
Traffic has moved to the newly reconstructed roadway on the north side of Main Avenue from west of Drain 21 to just before 6th St. NW intersection and runs on the south side of Main Ave after the shift to Sheyenne Street. Traffic is currently head-to-head, one lane in each direction.
North side residential and all businesses between 9th Street NW and 6th Street NW are accessible via 9th St./CR 19. The 6th St. and Main Ave. intersection is closed to thru traffic as paving operations move through this stretch of roadway.
Flaggers are present directing truck traffic throughout the work zone. NDDOT asks drivers to slow down and pay attention while driving through the work zone.
